Strusvogel Ostrich Farm is located near Carrying Place in Prince Edward County. The ostriches are raised for their meat and leather (and to attract visitors like us). This year there were 8 ostrich hens laying eggs - 0ne egg every two days between May and the end of August. The hens can lay for 30-40 years.
