A few kilometres north of Iroquois Ontario is the Robert Graham Conservation Area. It is a 140 acre working forest with a pine plantation having been planted by the Conservation Authority in the early 1960's. There is a 3km circular nature trail. (Which was muddy in spots and full of mosquitos)
With it having rained not too long before we got there, the ferns and grass had nice rain drops on them,  our shoes were soaked through very quickly.
There was a good variety of wild flowers in bloom. Scroll over for ID

In one section, there was a loud chorus of bull frogs competing with songbird soloists. We also found some tiny toads
A yellow ant colony had built a highway across the trail in one spot
A whitetail dragonfly stopped for a few seconds. A few more of the might have kept the mosquito population down....
