Three foxes at the Park store/restaurant were in full view, two moreso than the third. The silver fox was up on the tree platform very close to the observation deck, one of the red foxes slept through it all, while a third red fox posed in the sun briefly a few times
Three of the silver foxes in with the Rocky Mountain goats were in view as well, although just one was active.
Only one of the arctic foxes was above the fence line, viewed from the car, making photography possible.
The Rocky Mountain goats were lying off to the side of their shelter/feeding station, they looked quite relaxed, but I had wonder how comfortable one was resting his head on a rock
We only saw one group of turkeys this time. It is closing in on breeding time, so one of the males was showing off
In with that flock, was what seemed to be a leucistic turkey
She was quite shy and didn't hang around to pose for the photographer
We potted a few pigeons up in a tree and then noticed a larger whitish upright bird in the next tree. A red-tailed hawk just sat there looking around. Obviously it had had its breakfast and was enjoying the sun while digesting the meal
It seemed the black wolves had recently had their large meal. They were flaked out undisturbed by the ravens calling and walking about near them.
The coyotes had been moved to a new enclosure and seemed to still be adjusting to it as they were at the farthest point from the road. Seems like breeding time might happening for them too.
A good number of last year's crop of elk and red deer were gathered on the frozen beaver pond, while fallow deer rested not far away.
But when the ATV, that delivers corn as a morning snack, drives up, there is no resting
One of last year's youngsters was still nursing......
After mum had had enough, the youngster licked its lips, a drip of milk on its neck. It then come over to see if we had some carrots on offer
A pair of red deer were having a half-hearted light joust, but two fallow deer were going at it quite fiercely ignoring how close they came to the cars
The moose were well back in the woods, as were some of the caribou, but one was walking about his enclosure
