The Biodome is in the former Velodrome of the 1976 Montreal Olympics. It is divided into four areas: Tropical Forest, Laurentian Maple Forest, Gulf of St Lawrence and Sub-Polar Regions.
The variety of animals displayed, especially in the Gulf of St Lawrence, is not quite as extensive as before, but it certainly is worth a visit. Winter months are a great time as respite from the cold snow outside.
The Tropical Rainforest is just that, a dense, warm humid dense forest.
