Guillot Park is a undeveloped forested 18 acre "park" on the south side of the Lower Aylmer Rd near the Deschenes Rapids. There are a few very narrow lightly trodden trails through the bush. In the middle is a small shallow pond that ducks, in low numbers, enjoy.
A visit a year ago saw only one ring-necked duck. This visit, in late October, produced 4-5 mallards, 4 wood ducks and about 6-8 hooded mergansers. None were very close and the sun was shining towards us, so the photography was a bit lacking.
Mallard and 2 pair of  hooded merganser on left. Three wood ducks on right.
Nearby poison ivy plants had turned a very nice shade of orangey-red
A few flowers seemed to be quite happy to bloom despite the cool weather.(Scroll over for ID)
