Montreal has over 3,500 murals. We spent an afternoon and found about 100 of them. Some of the 100 or so are featured below.
The wall decorations range from wonderful creative murals through to straight careless random tagging.
What bothered me the most was the tagging of the murals. I don't think I've ever seen such disregard for artwork before.
The largest mural, at 22 stories tall, is of Leonard Cohen in central Montreal.

A few businesses had murals incorporated into their décor.

A few of the murals are past their best before date.

A few were more for fun

Some of the wall art was more difficult to classify, but perhaps a step above graffiti.

But like some other cities, Montreal has its graffiti alley.

The Underground city has murals and art works too

In a completely different part of town on Sherbrooke out by the Botanical Gardens I found this building with 4 murals.

A former water tower(?) in Vaudreuil just west of Montreal
