Went looking to see if the barred owls were still at Fletcher Garden - didn't find them, but that doesn't mean they aren't still there....
What we did find were chipmunks, squirrels, nuthatches, juncos, grackles, cardinals, woodpeckers, red-winged blackbirds and no ducks in the pond.
There was lots of activity at the feeders including this goldfinch with a blurry house finch behind

The red-winged blackbirds were announcing their presence having recently returned from their winter homes down south.
A hairy woodpecker was hammering away at a stub of a branch
Downy woodpeckers were there as well


Two of the male downies seemed to be having a territorial dispute
