Canadian Pacific Railway (CP Rail) started the Holiday Train in 1999, and except for 2020 and 20221, it has been an annual event.
There is a Canadian train that travels exclusively in Canada and a US train the covers stops in both countries. There are 168 stops over a 3 week period for both trains.
A stage flips out from one car with a half hour live performance at each stop.
In our area at least the train is attracting quite a crowd at each stop.
