Chinese New Year's day, February, 2024. We headed down to Chinatown for a promised parade that was to take place between 10am and noon. Crowds were gathered around several street corners along the one kilometre route. We were slightly early, so we started slowly walking and covered the parade route twice by 10:30. No sign of any parade.
We weren't expecting a large parade, just some dragon dancers and attendants. It was the first parade in four years what with cancellations for Covid etc.
We considered the parade a non-starter and left. But felt the time spent a success as I had been taking photos of the street art, the newer ones as I had some from a year ago, as we walked along. Based on Google traffic maps, it looked like it might have started around 11am.

Murals
Street Characters
Traffic Control Boxes
Store Fronts
While not in Chinatown but close by, was a nice looking mural partially blocked by cars and a garbage bin. I decided, as an experiment, to let PhotoShop AI have a go at the photo. First step, remove the garbage bin, step two removed the cars, step three use it clean up what was left in set two. It's not perfect. I could have continued working on it.
Photo editing like this  is very controversial and should always be clearly identified.
