RED-SHOULDERED HAWK
Red-shouldered hawks were relatively common.

We found one pair working on a nest in a dead palm tree
Two hawks were making themselves to home in a residential area next to a nature reserve.
SHORT-TAILED HAWK
This is a short-tailed hawk from the Avian Re-conditioning Center. Only a single wild one was seen, in the distance (in the video).
MERLIN

A close crop of a distant merlin.
(Didn't know it was a merlin until I got home and looked more closely at the picture)
BALD EAGLE

We found two bald eagle nests in Florida, both well off in the distance. Only this one was reasonably photographed.
This nest has been used, and added to for a good number of years.
While waiting for the train to Florida, we found this eagle nest in Virginia.
OSPREY
Hardly a day went by with out an osprey sighting (slight exaggeration perhaps😊)
Varied nesting choices by the ospreys....
PEREGRINE FALCON

Somehow I had never seen a peregrine in the wild before, so I was happy to have one appear this trip even if not in a natural setting.
